I didn't know he had a White. I do know that Taft was the first president to order motorcars for official White House use, and they were 1909 Pierce-Arrows. The man had style.

I'm guessing the one in this pic was fairly custom. Very large back seat, you may have noticed.
Taft was quite stylish, it's true, and fit quite well into the "heavy-set man with expensive taste" stereotype of the early 20th century. IIRC, however, Arthur takes the "President Fancypants" title, with a collection of custom canes and the like.
